AAA's TDs Paul Murphy, Ruth Coppinger and Mick Barry will be speaking at this rally in Limerick, along with Joe Higgins and Cllr. Cian Prendiville about building on the huge success for the real left in the General Election. Let's finish off Irish Water, and build a real left to replace Labour.
The Labour Party broken every promise, trading principles for perks and their support has collapsed. A new, principled and socialist Left is now rising to replace Labour with a real left. The AAA made a huge breakthrough in this election, including coming within 278 votes of taking the Labour seat in LImerick. Now we must build on this success by building a new mass party for workers and young people to replace the discredited Labour Party.
We need a left that won't sell you out, and won't let you down. We need a left that will not prop up the political elite, but will use it's positions in council and the Dail as a platform to fight for real change.Everyone who wants to see that kind of real left built should come to this rally and be part of this new movement for workers and young people.
